SLink · Pokémon Soul Link for two players

Pokémon Soul Link,
automated.

Play your own game while SLink keeps both runs connected. Catches link by area, teams stay together, and a faint on one side takes its partner down too.

Two players · Two games in BizHawk · One linked run

01

Catch and link

Your first species in an area stays yours until you catch it, then links with your partner's catch. Runs can opt into the classic rule that closes a missed area instead.

02

Build your teams together

A linked pair belongs in both parties or both PCs. SLink keeps the pair together when you change your team.

03

Share the loss

When a Pokémon faints, its partner falls too. The memorial keeps a record of each lost pair.

Getting started

Choose your games and rules, connect both players, then play. The run board tracks your pairs as you go.

  1. Create a run.Pick a game family and the rules you want to play with. Both players use games from the same family.
  2. Prepare your cartridge.Take the run's cartridge download, or patch your own at /patcher. The companion patch is required, except for Yellow and the Emerald Expansion; a clean cartridge is refused.
  3. Connect both games.Download each player's setup from the run page. In BizHawk, load your game and save, then load the launcher in the Lua console.
  4. Start playing.Catch your first Pokémon in the same area. Check the board for linked pairs, your teams, and the run's recent events.
